Hard water has calcium carbonate dissolved in it.  Which is soluble in atmospheric pressure water.  But if we use a little vacuum pump to apply one metre of vacuum to the water, it clears all solids and salts behind!

The calcium carbonate use stripped out!  As it is not soluble in water vapour.  And he is left behind in the water supply,

  Not remote well water!  Cambridge University should be ashamed!  There is the problem with well water containing too much arsenic, above the recommended limit for human health. Week in clean up river or stream water.  We want a little 5 W solar panel.  Which will suck up water, and at one metre of vacuum, the contaminated river water will boil!
