The simplest way to get out totally pure water, is to apply one metre of vacuum to river or sea water.  It leaves all salts and contaminants like a heavy metals and bacteria behind.

We just suck out pure water!  The problem then is so get the water vapour to a high reservoir.  We could fill a low reservoir, and at night reverse the water pumps, to pump the water at the present water distribution system, to higher reservoirs.

The least disruptive root is a polyurethane pipe up a river course.  Sucking up seawater, then transport to a reservoir.

In Texas we can suck pure water vapour from the natural rovers.  Which are

Brazos River, Rio Grande, Red River, Nueces River, Neches River, Guadalupe River, Trinity River, San Jacinto River, Colorado River.  These are major Rivers, that even in high summer do not usually dry up.

Certainly there sea does not!  And week in use a little solar driven pumps, to transport the water vapour up a 10 CM wide polyurethane five in the middle of the rivers.

Safe for human interference!  And near the river source we drive off to a high reservoir.

And the water company is have a master's surplus electricity at night, and the pumps to transport the liquid water to a high reservoir.

And we produce pure water vapour - and nothing lives in distilled water.  So we do not have to need to add chlorine!

We just gave the world endless fresh water through the dry summer months.  The solar driven pumps will replace the need for natural rain fall.

In the UK British water can use the surplus power during the night, to suck up C or river water into fuel water vapour.  As he vent the vapour over the reservoir, it was A cooling mist which refills the reservoir with water.

So we basically have given the water company is access to free fresh water.  They already have invested capital in the water pumps or reservoirs!

Or we've done is use high school physics, to year the UK access to free unlimited water.  I am old enough to remember 1976.  And my mother can probably remember 1943.

So we do not need to be dependent on gathering natural rain.  Apply he just one metre of vacuum to sea or river water, gives us access to unlimited fresh water.

And no King get at free water in the middle of the oceans!  They do not need to ship the heavy water from land.

Water Aid has missed a tricky here.  Well water has arsenic in it! Drinking water standard The maximum level of arsenic the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) allows in community water systems is 10 micrograms per liter (µg/L*). However, consuming water with arsenic at levels lower than the EPA standard over many years can still increase your risk of cancer. As a result, the EPA has set a goal of 0 µg/L of arsenic in drinking water. It is as hard to remove the arsenic, as it use to remove heavy metals and bacteria from river water.  Are it is as simple to remove contaminants, as it use to purify one walls are back in from miles away! We are back to my old idea about vacuum desalination!  We drop snorkels into the Red Sea, connected to little solar powered vacuum pumps. We only need to raise the sea by one metre, and it boils into water vapour!  Probably only at 80 cm.  It isn't 1000 times easier to pump as water vapour than liquid water. So we transport it a kilometre inshore, an event the water vapour over the arid desert.  It forms a cooling mist!  Which are like condenses into rain droplets and falls on the ground. There cease in the soil will go crazy!  We may need to distribute a soil dust.  And the plant's will grow like mad.  Sucking in all our carbon dioxide physics is so bothered about! Biology is not remotely concerned.  As plasma photosynthesis on land and sea it uses a carbon dioxide levels to just two parts per million around the temperate earth.  Carbon dioxide levels are higher above the deserts and the arctic ice.
