Free water for Africa

This works for all hot countries!  We need a source of free electricity.  I would favour a little steam plasma power plant.

My American friend validated that a 30x1cm steam plasma generate a constant 1 MW of heat.  This will drive a little steam turbine to produce 500 kW of electricity.  We convert into AC mains current.

We do this remote from the town!  Is really that an awful lot of heat we were prefer not to be near.

So we use the heat to drive a little commercially sourced steam turbine.  And here I fall back on the life saving Dr. My father to his National Service after the Second World War.

We use a little pump to compress a gas.  Increasing the pressure by 50% should amazingly enough increase the air temperature by 80° C.  We lose that heat to the air.  Higher up and remote from the village.

We then pump that gas through family insulated cylinders, into the town outskirts.  Where we vent the pressure threw a little venture he nozzle, we drop the temperature by 80° C.  If her original air was out 40° C, where we vent the heat to the air, we get pressurise gas at 40° C.

So well he vent the pressure the gas reaches -40° C.  We pass it through an aluminium cylinder, which gets very very cold!  And the water vapour from the air condenses out as liquid water, which drips down before it freezes.

This is a life saving idea!  A metal cap placed under a wind sheet outside the tent, will condense your morning drink from soldier.

The African area contains loads of moisture!  But he is two hot for that water to come out.  Excess juice or water passes through some cool underground caves.  When the water drips out!

Passing over an aluminium cylinder, the air will precipitate out into water, and leave the site at 0° C or slightly hotter.

So we have given of age and the endless source of fresh water.  And also of an ice blast of cool air!  Which in hot countries is very welcome.

And the steam plasma uses so little water, we'll never measure its water usage in a lifetime.  They start off with a little spring loaded 5 cc water reservoir.  And the only uses regular water.

And will produce endless pure water, ideal for drinking or irrigation.

And now we have access to electricity for cooking and lighting.  So we no longer need to utilised open fires all candles.  And the biggest cause of childhood death in Africa, is falling into an open fire.  Now we cork and light electrically.  Using our free carbon zero electricity.

Free fresh water

Water Aid has missed a tricky here.  Well water has arsenic in it! Drinking water standard The maximum level of arsenic the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) allows in community water systems is 10 micrograms per liter (µg/L*). However, consuming water with arsenic at levels lower than the EPA standard over many years can still increase your risk of cancer. As a result, the EPA has set a goal of 0 µg/L of arsenic in drinking water. It is as hard to remove the arsenic, as it use to remove heavy metals and bacteria from river water.  Are it is as simple to remove contaminants, as it use to purify one walls are back in from miles away! Wetting the Nahib desert

We are back to my old idea about vacuum desalination!  We drop snorkels into the Red Sea, connected to little solar powered vacuum pumps. We only need to raise the sea by one metre, and it boils into water vapour!  Probably only at 80 cm.  It isn't 1000 times easier to pump as water vapour than liquid water. So we transport it a kilometre inshore, an event the water vapour over the arid desert.  It forms a cooling mist!  Which are like condenses into rain droplets and falls on the ground. There cease in the soil will go crazy!  We may need to distribute a soil dust.  And the plant's will grow like mad.  Sucking in all our carbon dioxide physics is so bothered about! Biology is not remotely concerned.  As plasma photosynthesis on land and sea it uses a carbon dioxide levels to just two parts per million around the temperate earth.  Carbon dioxide levels are higher above the deserts and the arctic ice.
